Recently new to the Northern Bruce Peninsula,
we're over the moon to be living in this Unesco World Biosphere.
We left the big city in search of a more natural living and here we landed!
We're eager to learn more about growing our own food,
especially fruit and nut trees, and beekeeping!
We want to see wildlife much more often,
and include nature more mindfully in our lives.
So far, we've seen the Red-Shouldered Hawk, Snowy Owl, Barred Owl,
Massasauga Rattlesnake (which is nearly endangered!), endless birds and butterflies.
The frogs and grasshoppers just jump and leap with each step you take.
We have a small patch of forest you're welcome to hike through.
Or for a short quiet stroll, you can mosey on down the dirt road just south of us.
In minutes you'll find yourself in a field of sleepy hay, apple trees, and a pond.
Our home is bustling with life and we are so fortunate to be taking care of it!
